"Khoobsurat" is a Bollywood romantic comedy film released in
1999. It was directed by Sanjay Chhel and produced by Rahul Sughand. The film
stars Sanjay Dutt, Urmila Matondkar, and Om Puri in lead roles, with supporting performances by
Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, and Anjan Srivastav
The story revolves around a free-spirited and vivacious
girl named Milli, played by Urmila Matondkar. She is hired as a governess for a
royal family living in a grand mansion. The family consists of a strict
disciplinarian mother, Nirmala Devi (played by Farida Jalal), and her two sons,
Rahul (played by Sanjay Dutt) and Rajan (played by Ashok Saraf)..
Milli's carefree and joyful nature clashes with the structured and
conservative environment of the royal household. She brings laughter and
happiness into the lives of everyone in the family, including the servants, but
also faces resistance from Nirmala Devi, who finds her behavior inappropriate
for a governess.
